Google Cloud - Field Sales Representative
Responsibilities
- Daily prospecting for opportunities via outbound calls & emails, often in collaboration with Googlers
- Effectively prepare and deliver proposals based on customer requirements
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for Google Cloud and priority SaaS products
- Establish and maintain relationships with prospective clients and Google representatives
- In-person selling to companies in your region, with a willingness to travel when required
- Maintain accurate records of all customer engagements and active pipeline activity in Salesforce
- Submit qualified opportunities through Google’s Partner Sales tools
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), additional SaaS offerings, and Premier Cloud’s services
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience selling PaaS/SaaS solutions
- Demonstrated success selling B2B software
- Ability to source, engage, and build relationships with target accounts
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Skilled in leading video-based presentations and meetings
- Capable of working with sales engineers and customer technical leads to inventory software environments, define migration strategies, and build business cases
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Past experience working for Google or a Google Cloud Partner would be an asset
- Completion of relevant Google certifications: (such as Google Workspace Sales Credential, Google Cloud Sales Credential, and Google for Education Sales Credential) would be an asset
- A strong foundation of knowledge surrounding Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and/or any other public cloud: would be an asset

The Field Sales Representative (FSR) role is an exciting and unique opportunity to work with a leading Google Cloud Premier Partner, headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia, with a sales office in Austin, TX.
As an FSR, you will report directly to the VP of Sales. You will work closely with Googlers in the local Google offices, collaborating on joint campaigns to drive Google Cloud Platform (GCP) wins and to sell Premier Cloud’s Professional Services offerings.
An ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, the ability to sell effectively via email, phone, and video conference, and a passion for problem-solving, deal strategy, and building relationships with prospects to identify optimal cloud solutions.
