Alta provides enterprise finance and IT leaders with real-time visibility into their AI and technology costs. However, the company faced a complex technical bottleneck when trying to expand its enterprise market reach: they needed to list their platform on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Marketplace. Successfully onboarding would unlock a critical revenue channel by allowing customers to seamlessly procure Alta's software and burn down their existing Google Cloud spend commitments.

Premier Cloud spearheaded the end-to-end technical integration for Alta's GCP Marketplace onboarding, transforming an initially limited listing strategy into a fully automated digital procurement engine. To achieve this, Premier Cloud deployed a custom procurement infrastructure featuring a dedicated order management application and a secure account registration portal designed specifically to handle marketplace orders.

We integrated full billing capabilities by configuring Google Cloud Pub/Sub and the Cloud Commerce Partner Procurement API, which unlocked Alta's ability to execute private offers and streamlined complex transactional workflows. Finally, the team conducted live, collaborative test purchases alongside both Google and Alta to verify that the entire integrated sequence met the highest operational standards.

By replacing manual onboarding and procurement friction with an automated cloud-native pipeline, Alta successfully launched on the GCP Marketplace in under four weeks of working with Premier Cloud. This timeline significantly outperformed typical expectations for GCP onboarding, empowering customers of all sizes—from startups and SMBs to large enterprises—to self-register and complete instant transaction approvals, unlocking a frictionless sales cycle that seamlessly burns down committed cloud spend.
