Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience delivering custom solutions on a major cloud platform
• Demonstrate an ability to deliver data architecture projects
• Ability to understand clients' infrastructure requirements and suggest solutions based on their business needs
• Substantial experience and expertise with SQL, data warehouse design, database administration, and scripting data pipelines
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience delivering custom solutions on Google Cloud platform
• Knowledge of AI and ML technologies
• Experience with Looker would be considered an asset

As a Google Cloud Data Engineer at Premier Cloud, your mission consists of implementing solutions on Google Cloud. Identifying clients' objectives & pain points and helping them leverage cloud solutions to bridge the gap between the old and the new.
The Cloud Data Architect is an invaluable resource for Premier Cloud clients to help define their architecture on how to ingest, store, process, analyze and explore/visualize data on GCP. The Data Engineer provides insights to the client and then translates that into actionable steps for cloud data engineers to implement.

Responsibilities
• Reporting to the Director of Cloud Services
• Deliver data architecture projects for Premier Cloud’s GCP clients
• Deliver detailed architecture design documents for clients
• Develop high-level design requirements for data architecture implementations
• Work with clients to understand their target data architecture needs
• Conduct client readiness assessment’s for leveraging cloud technology for data analysis
• Collaborate internally to develop delivery guidebooks, assessments, and expected data architecture patterns for cloud data projects
• Work with cloud architects, cloud data engineers, and developers on engagements to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients
